Masters gears from Parker Industries are highly specialized products that remain one of our best sellers. We design and manufacture master gears to the highest standards by using frequently inspected and specifically designed grinding machines and equipment. Master gears provide a full functional test of all features of components. Functional gear testing, also referred to as total radial composite deviation, is a method of monitoring the total effect of gear errors. Master gears are often made from 01 tool steel and hardened to 60-62 Rc, but can be supplied in other steels as well as carbide if required. To select your master gears’ standards, DP/module, pressure angle, helix angle, face width, bore size, pitch diameter and hand and hub options, please complete and send a request for quote form. Component drawings may also be submitted with this form.
